Generally speaking, the story leaves a lot to be desired, but it works as a way to deliver some crazy action.Ģ Fast 2 Furious finds some redemption within the action scenes though, which are both inventive and never taken too seriously. The dialogue often boils down to these two characters bouncing one-liners off each other, whether during an intense shoot-out, a planning phase, or a car chase. This includes Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), one of Brian’s childhood friends and an overall troublemaker.
